Welcome to the official website of our international collaborative project, “Alloys for Additive Manufacturing: Production, Processing, Design, and Sustainability.” This initiative is jointly led by Prof. Pedro Rivera from the University of Southampton, UK, and Dr. Jai Singh from Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) University Bengaluru, India, bringing together a shared vision to advance the science and engineering of alloys tailored for additive manufacturing (AM).
Our collaboration focuses on the integrated development of new alloy systems, their sustainable production and processing routes, and the design strategies required to meet performance demands across diverse sectors such as aerospace, biomedical, and energy. By combining experimental insights with advanced modeling and simulation, we aim to create a foundational framework that accelerates innovation in AM materials.
This platform serves as a hub to showcase our research outcomes, publications, educational resources, and outreach activities. We are committed to fostering international knowledge exchange and inspiring the next generation of materials scientists and engineers.
